Tours will move through the historic core of the site and touch on a little bit of everything: Madison the man, The Constitution & Bill of Rights, and Enslaved Community.

A Virtual Exploration

Join Montpelier's Horticulture team to learn how and why the ornamental landscape has evolved over the last two centuries. The tour will cover the South Yard, Arboretum, East Lawn, and the Formal Garden.

Join Montpelier's horticultural team and Virginia Master Naturalists for three separate virtual adventures. This three part series will explore the Montpelier grounds to better understand the roles that plants and animals play on the environment.
