The Arts Center in Orange offers a wide range of classes for all ages and skill levels. Children's Virtual Art Camps are available through July and early August.

Montpelier's Outdoor Walking Tours:

Offered Thursdays-Mondays

Tours will move through the historic core of the site and touch on a little bit of everything: Madison the man, The Constitution & Bill of Rights, and Enslaved Community.

Offered Saturdays

Extended version of the Montpelier Walking Tour, ending with drinks with the President of Montpelier. Children under 21 not allowed.

Flowers on the Farm at

Liberty Mills Farm

The Farm Market will be open and there will be lots and lots of opportunities for beautiful photos with sunflowers, zinnias and more!

Bring your own 5 gallon bucket or use our new flower buckets and fill them with mixed flowers for just $25!


The you-pick flower patch will be open all summer by appointment.


No appointments needed this Saturday or Sunday, June 27-28!

Gordonsville Independence Day Street Fest on Main Street!!

Main Street Gordonsville invites you to join them on July 3rd for a safe, FREE, positive, family & friend friendly, FUN local Independence Day celebration on Main Street in Gordonsville, VA!

Dance to Motown tunes by The Unsuitables on the Town Hall steps, enjoy treats by Just Dogs & Catering and B-radd & Honey Ice Cream and Coffee, enjoy July 4th wine and food specials at @well hung vineyard , picnics on the lawn at the Exchange Hotel Museum, with blacksmithing demonstrations by Stokes of England USA in the BRB parking lot and performances throughout Main Street - and your favorite shops will be open!

Hands-On History at James Madison's Montpelier

Children and families can get their "hands-on history" in a variety of activities while learning about Montpelier's past. Make and take home a piece of history! Activities change weekly.

 Featuring handmade local art work from folks all over Virginia and live working art demos. Unionville Brewing and Iron Pipe Alewerks will be there to pour their local made brews and Food trucks TBD.

Book Signing with Chris Register at Horton Vineyards

Charlottesville-based author Chris Register will be visiting Horton Vineyards on Saturday, March 28. Come enjoy our beautiful views and award-winning wines while chatting with Chris about his epic bicycle journey into America. You can also pick up a personalized, signed copy of his recently-released book, Conversations With US - American Southwest.
