Celebrate the anniversary of the U.S. Constitution with family and friends on the historic grounds of James Madison's Montpelier. Begin the day with an interpreter-led "We the People" trail walk on the 3.5-mile Montpelier Loop Trail at 9:30 a.m. There is free admission to the house 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and hands-on history activities and colonial games around the grounds 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Mr. Madison will be at home and will be receiving guests all day.
