Schewels is a family-run company that operates more than 50 retail furniture stores in Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. We were founded in 1897 when Elias Schewel began selling small furniture pieces out of his horse-drawn wagon. Today, you can find the same quality home furnishings, appliances, electronics and power equipment in our Madison Road store.
