"Horton Vineyards"
An old-world style Tudor winery with stunning underground stone cellars, views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and a wonderful vaulted ceiling tasting room are the highlights of this beautiful winery. Horton has more than 40 wines, all available in the tasting room, and is well-known for being innovative. Meet Spirit, Voyage and Courage, three blends from Horton Vineyards made to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Jamestown. Each has a label depicting a ship painted by British artist Mike Haywood. Wine tasting and gift shop open daily 10-5, except for major holidays. Tours available upon request, but please call ahead.
