Event: Montpelier Hunt Races

One of Orange County's most unique events, the Montpelier Hunt Races feature seven races. The first horse race post time is 12:30 PM and the last race usually begins between 4:30 and 4:45PM. Two races are on the flat and 5 are over fences.The premier race is the sixth race and is run over Montpelier’s signature brush fences. Most races are over 2 miles and the horses make over 2 turns around the course.
